Portland Product Recall Attorney
Injury Claims and Recalled Products
A product recall could have taken place due to a defective product that was voluntarily recalled by the manufacturer, or when ordered by a federal agency. There are two types of product liability cases which are very different in nature.
Product Recall
A product recall occurs when the manufacturer is made aware of injuries or deaths to consumers that have used the product. The product is then removed from stores. After a product recall, the product can no longer be sold legally.
Product recalls have been made for a wide range of items, such as:
- Food
- Drugs
- Auto parts
- Children’s toys
- Household products
Defective Products
A defective product that has caused injury may or may not be recalled. In many cases, the product is allowed to remain on the market. If a defective drug, food, or other types of product have injured you or your loved one please speak with an attorney from the firm.
